Fits great easy installationFirst impressions: the Hafny mirror is a well made (Taiwanese) product, a step above many of the competing low priced mirrors on Amazon. Installation was a snap: install the clamp on your handlebars, insert the mirror shaft, and tighten. With included shims it should fit handlebars from 21-26 mm. The mirror height and angle are easily adjustable with a ball joint and Allen screw, and the mirror could be placed above or below the handlebar, depending on personal preference. The oval shape gives somewhat better coverage than the usual round mirror. (The mirror I purchased is designed for left side mount but another model is available for right side use.) The only caveat is that for good vision it is important to install the mirror's mounting clamp as close to the grip as possible. It will work best therefore on straight mountain bike type handlebars but the shaft is long enough for cruiser bars as well. However, this mirror design seems to vibrate more on rough pavement than the mirrors that inserted in the bar ends. Another advantage of this type of mirror is being able to avoid cutting a hole in the end of your handlebar grip.Works as I expected. No surprises .Some bike mirrors make you cut a hole in your handle grip to install. I wanted one that clamped onto the handlebar, so I didn't have to ruin my grip. This mirror accomplished that goal. It is fairly sturdy and highly adjustable. The field of view is small, but it's an acceptable tradeoff for its sleek size. It wasn't the easiest to install. I third person to hold it in place while you fiddle with the screws is recommended. I like that it has a little reflector on the non-mirror side. Weird, but I just do.Easy to attach, and the arm and mirror stay in-place once you tighten the securing screw. Only draw-back is it could be a little bigger, and maybe have a convex surface to cover more area of what's behind you. The convex design would work like the blind spot mirrors on vehicles.Study construction . Doesn’t vibrate or move around during rideWe ordered both a left and right mirror for our new ebike. When they arrived, the right side mirror had the correct mount, but the incorrect mirror. I emailed the company at the email address listed on the product package, and they responded within a day. The company immediately send the correct part and we now have both mirrors installed and love them. It is refreshing to actually be able to connect with a company that supports their customers and stands behind their products. Well done, Hafny! As for the mirrors themselves, we are very pleased. Each mirror has a reflector that sits high on the bike, allowing oncoming vehicles to better see the bike. The mirror surface produces an image as clear as a traditional glass mirror, but is much less likely to break. The mirrors can be adjusted easily, but remain in place when riding. Even on our ebike, with no suspension, the image does not shake or blur. Having a mirror-image, matched pair looks great on the bike. The only consideration is mounting space. Our bike has somewhat large ebike controls and brake lever mounted directly next to the hand grip. That moves the mirror mount fairly far inboard. On the opposite side, the shifter, hand brake, and bell are mounted next to the hand grip, forcing the mirror mount closer to the stem. This puts the rider's arms partially in the field of view of the mirror. It works fine, but another centimeter of length on the mounting arms would be my only suggestion for improvement. On a traditional bike, this would probably not be an issue. You can see the mount and reflectors in the attached pictures.Return it I had high expectations for the brand but I was disappointedThis is better than it first seems, in that careful placement is critical if you want to see behind without tucking your arm in every time. I have the RH mirror only, attached to the handlebar immediately next to the grip. The necessary slight move to the left of the brake and gear shift is not problematic at all. Initially I set the arm too high, which does result in restricted rear view. Setting it low makes all the difference, allowing a clear view without arm or elbow in the way.The attachment to the handlebar is solid and doesn't move, and the ball joint between mirror and arm is firm, keeping the mirror in place but allowing slight adjustments on the move. It extends just a small way (3 inches max) beyond the handlebar - not dangerous or impractical like many bar-end mirrors. The mirror is clear but with a small field of view, and of course there is vibration, depending on road surface. It's not perfect - too small to see vehicles approaching from a far distance - but much much better than having no mirror at all.Hello à tousl'installation de cet équipement n'a été que de 5 min en comprenant l'ajustement du miroir donc c'est super aiséje pratique le velo-taff quotidiennementj'ai franchi le pas de l'achat d'un rétro pour un souci de sécurité et de confortje n'ai qu'à jeter un coup d’œil rapide dans le rétro afin de voir ce qu'il se passe derrièretourner la tête en permanence est fatiguant à force et on perd la route des yeux bien plus longtemps qu'un simple coup d'oeil dans le rétroje tourne la tête pour les changements de directionsle seul hic est qu'il y a pas mal de vibrations, je vois ce qu'il se passe derrière mais du fait des vibrations, tout n'est pas net, cependant ça permet tout de même de savoir ce qu'il se passej'essaie de trouver un moyen d'éliminer les vibrationsje recommande mais avec ce bémolps: si mon commentaire vous a été utile, n'hésitez pas à likerbest purchase ever! this item is very well made, easy to install and so very helpful. i can now see the cars that are literally trying to kill me on the road and am now able to dodge them before they achieve their goal. make sure you check to make sure you order left or right, there are no markings on the box.It works great, gives me and excellent view behind when making turns. I had a bit of trouble working out the best way to fit it.. The photos showed it inside the gearshift. But when I tried this it interfered somewhat with the gearshift, and the bull horn at the end of the handlebars was in the way, I couldn't get a good view behind. So instead I did the following:1. Move the gearshift inwards the same distance as the width of the mirror mounting bracket.2. Remove the bull horn from handlebar.3. Slide the bike's rubber handgrip along the handlebar so its up against the gearshift (in it's new position).4. Fit the mirror mounting bracket at the end of the handlebar up against the rubber handgrip.5. Adjust the mirror to give a good few and tighten up the Allen screws so it won't easily budge.6. Put the bull horn back on right up against the mirror mounting bracket.7. All done.Well made good quality product. Due to my bikes set up I’ve mounted it under the handle bars where it gives a good field of view. The major problem (as much due to roads) is that it vibrates with the bike dreadfully so getting a clear picture of what’s behind is hard. But it does as expected and improves your overall view of your surroundings.
