Tuck them into existing panels or carpet. Attach the rear camera to a vehicle seat back, headrest or other location with the included Velcro straps.Simply plug the connectors together, plug the 12 volt adapter into you outlet (or hard wire it to existing wiring-(Advanced installer).Press the RED lighted button on the 12 volt connector and the unit will instantly come in.Tie up any loose or excess wiring.Adjust the angle of your rear camera so you can see the exact area in the rear seat that you want to monitor.The clarity of the display if top notch. The simplicity of the installation makes this a perfect option for even a novice to install. Not cutting of wires. Set up time was less than half an hour. Being a wired system makes the camera install a breeze since you don’t have to add another power source or to use batteries.Mounting the monitor was easy as well. I would have preferred to have it mounted with Velcro so I could remove the monitor when not in use. I also think a suction cup mount or rear view mirror attachment would also add to the value of this system.This system is well built and should last a long time with little maintenance.No more turning around while driving. Image is very clear with great resolution! You will be very happy with this product!!At first the camera and monitor worked as it should. It wasn’t long before the the monitor started showing the screens in the pictures. It would never keep the camera image on the screen. It would come and go. I’m not sure if this was do to a camera issue or a cordage issue. When the camera image was on the screen it was a good image. The monitor is light weight and would be easy to mount with a double sided tape.After further review I believe the camera has trouble adjusting in curtain light settings. It seems to have the most difficulty in the daytime dust and dawn. In the dark I it’s a steady picture.It took me 10 minutes from start to finish to set things up. I actually didn't use the instructions as it was that easy. It's so nice to be able to watch my baby without being distracted by turning around while driving. The only feature that would have been cooler is if you could record for those Uber drivers out there. The display was very clear for only 4.3 inches.This is a nice versatile monitor to let you see the back seat for kids , babies, pets and also see yout backup camera when you put in reverse.Good picture quality and installation was pretty straight forward with decent instructions.If you have a car with tinted windows it’s possible that you will only see night vision black and white as the light in the back is limited , because the camera is tilted downwards light is limited and automatically turns to night vision black and whiteGreat Camera. Have been using it for a few months now and im very happy with it. The picture quality is great and can easily see my little one while driving. I can see if her eyes are opened or closed which i can't see with the mirror. Night vision is good too it changes to black and white and has a good clear picture.Wish I had got this sooner, so much easier then a review mirror for baby. Powers on instantly and having the removable screen means I can pack it away safely when it’s not in use! Night vision makes it even better
